This salmon recipe is simple but delicious as it allows the naturally wonderful flavors of the salmon to come through without getting overpowered by sauces or spices.
Serves 2
2 salmon steaks
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Few lemon wedges
Wipe the salmon steaks with a damp cloth and sprinkle all over with salt and pepper. Lightly grease the grill pan with some of the butter and place the salmon steaks on it. Dot the fish with the remaining butter. Keep the grill pan under a hot grill for about 4 minutes. Then flip over the steaks and grill till the fish is cooked through. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Seasoned butter is a great accompaniment to this dish. Just add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice to 2 oz. butter. Add a pinch of pepper and a little chopped parsley. Now mix well and chill. You could carve the butter into swirls while serving with the fish.
